Welcome to my blog. I'm probably very much like all of you who love the needlearts. My life revolves around family, friends, home and all things that help to make for a more contented life. When time allows; cooking, gardening, decorating, and collecting are my joys. I look forward to sharing all of these things with you. I also hope to keep you up to date on what is going on at Homespun Elegance, in regard to the needlework designs and the "Plain & Fancy Wares" that we offer.

Wishing you "Many Happy Stitches".

Oh No!

Good Evening Everyone!
Oh, no, I can't believe I have to go back to work
in a few days.  I'm not ready.  Don't want to
face reality.  All the things I promised I would
stop doing after Christmas are looming.  What am
I to do?  Well, I'm going to Richmond tomorrow for
New Years Eve for one last hurrah for 2012.
It will not be a wild and crazy night because
I am long past that.  Just some more good food, a few
glasses of champagne, some sinfully delicious
desserts and time spent with my love ones and that
sweet thing lounging in his new chair.
Just wanted to remind everyone that we will not
be in the office until Wednesday.  The emails and
orders have started, so please do not think we
are ignoring you, just continuing with our
holiday vacation.
I want to wish you a New Year filled with
happiness, good health, peace, and lots and lots of
"Happy Stitches",

  1. Happy New Year Sandra!
Cute pic of Avery in his new chair. :)
    Have fun in Richmond.

  2. You post the sweetest photos! Enjoy your new year celebration.

  3. Avery looks like he's woken up New Year's Morning and questioning why he let Grandma let him have all that sugar (he's way too young for the Champagne).....Happy New Year!

  4. Christmas has come and gone too soon - Happy New Year to you x

  5. Happy Newyear, I love the picture.

  6. Thank you so much for following my Blog and letting me go on and on about little Avery. He has brought so much joy to all of us. I want to wish you a Happy New Year filled with love and peace. Sandra
