Welcome to my blog. I'm probably very much like all of you who love the needlearts. My life revolves around family, friends, home and all things that help to make for a more contented life. When time allows; cooking, gardening, decorating, and collecting are my joys. I look forward to sharing all of these things with you. I also hope to keep you up to date on what is going on at Homespun Elegance, in regard to the needlework designs and the "Plain & Fancy Wares" that we offer.

Wishing you "Many Happy Stitches".

Sneak Peek

Good Evening Everyone!
The color of my type should give you an idea of
the theme of my sneak peak.   It is getting to be
that time of year.   I always find it difficult to think
Christmas, but it a necessary evil of this industry -- we
must have time to get these designs stitched!!!
So I have persevered and hopefully will have these
2011 Annual Ornaments
available in a few weeks.
I hope I have intrigued you with these tiny glimpses
of what is to come.
Many Merry Stitches,

  1. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

  2. Loving your colors that you have chosen for us!

  3. Oh! Santa flying across the sky! The motion of the bell's clapper!

For me, Christmas is about way more than Santa and presents...but stitched ornaments are ALL about Santa!

Why is this? Looking great, Sandra! I still need to do the finishing on 2010's ornament...and I did say I'd have this year's ready early, too! lol!

  4. Lovely peak - Looking forward to the rest :)

  5. I love them so far. I see this will be on my wish(need)list. Thanks for the peek!

  6. I can't wait to see more! I have a big stack of your yearly ornaments that I am eager to stitch. I have two nieces who were born in Virginia so I hope to do your Merry Virginia for them this year, too.

  7. Hi, Sandra ~ I'm loving what I see!

  8. oooo thanks for the sneak peak :) love mouse xxxx

  9. Thanks for the sneak peek! It's just whetting my appetite. I can't wait to see the completed designs.
