"DESIGNS THAT REFLECT OUR
AMERICAN HERITAGE"

Welcome to my blog. I'm probably very much like all of you who love the needlearts. My life revolves around family, friends, home and all things that help to make for a more contented life. When time allows; cooking, gardening, decorating, and collecting are my joys. I look forward to sharing all of these things with you. I also hope to keep you up to date on what is going on at Homespun Elegance, in regard to the needlework designs and the "Plain & Fancy Wares" that we offer.

Wishing you "Many Happy Stitches".

Cinnamon Stick Santa is Finished

Good Early Afternoon!
So please to tell you that I have finally finished by
CINNAMON STICK SANTA
2013
"JOY ~ TOY ~ GIVER"
I'm so proud of him!  I hope
you like him too.
This closeup shows my wonderful Olde Brass
Santa button and the rusty wire hanger.  So easy to do.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Both of the projects are stitched on Week's Dye Works
"Putty" hand-dyed linen.
The hanging is stitched on 20 Count and the Hanging
Pocket is stitched on 30 Count.
I used a variety of fibers.
SHOPPE OWNERS ~
If you are going
to the TNNA show, a large picture will
be hanging there so you can see him in all
his Christmas Glory.
Sandra
