"DESIGNS THAT REFLECT OUR
AMERICAN HERITAGE"

Welcome to my blog. I'm probably very much like all of you who love the needlearts. My life revolves around family, friends, home and all things that help to make for a more contented life. When time allows; cooking, gardening, decorating, and collecting are my joys. I look forward to sharing all of these things with you. I also hope to keep you up to date on what is going on at Homespun Elegance, in regard to the needlework designs and the "Plain & Fancy Wares" that we offer.

Wishing you "Many Happy Stitches".

New Wares

Good Evening Everyone!
Hope this finds all of you well.  Just heard
on the news that the flu is really bad in 47 states.
I hope you have all had your flu shots and
are being really careful when you are out
and about.  I know I sound paranoid but
maybe there is reason to be.
Staying inside and stitching the winter
away sounds like a good idea to me.
What do you think?

Hope you like my new things!
Let me know what you think.

  2. I'm with you on staying in and stitching. I'm one of those who can't have the flu shot so I'm always a wee bit more careful or at least try to be. Great stitching and that OWL is too cute.

  6. Love them both!!
The flu is bad here in Canada too. Ottawa is just full of it. I just finished chewing out my youngest son for not getting his flu shot. He picks things up so easily.

    1. Hi Lynn,
I am so worried about getting the flu. Between being sick for two months last year with some
horrific stuff and the fear of giving something to Avery, it just scares me to death. Hope your son is lucky this year. Stay well,
      Sandra
