Hi Everyone!
We had a great weekend here in Fredericksburg, VA.
We didn't wash away after all from our many inches
of rain. Boy did we need it. What is left of the
flowers are all standing up and looking happy for
the first time in weeks. Their last hurrah before
frost gets here.
I didn't get to do much Homespun Elegance work
this weekend. We went to a beautiful wedding on
Saturday which took up most of the day. We
had quite a little journey to get to the reception and
I was looking forward to the ride so I could stitch
on the way. Well, when I pulled out my project my
needle was not there. You can imagine my disap-
pointment. I never ride in the car for a distance
like that without stitching. I was miserable. All
I could think about was missed stitching time.
Do you use every available moment to stitch?
I think I am obsessed.
There is a little bit of time left to stitch some
more Halloween stuff. I came across a little
stack of "Halloween Papermakings" fixings
in my storage unit, so I have put them together.
There are 13 quick and easy designs. The
tan perforated paper is included plus the tan
backing paper. Even the directions for making
the wire Halloween tree. When these are gone
that will be it although I will probably use the designs
in another way. This Project Pack is not available
in your needlework shoppe.

The cost is $9.50 which includes shipping
(in the US). International slightly more.
Hope you like it!!
Have a great evening. I hope to be back
tomorrow with some Halloween stuff
that doesn't have to be stitched.
Many Happy Stitches,
Sandra
Missing my needle like that would drive me crazy! My stitching goes everywhere with me and I use every opportunity to put in stitches. If I've forgotten it at home I feel lost!
ReplyDeleteBTW,did you receive my latest email re my recent order?
Nice to hear you had a great weekend even without a needle. Having had the same experience, I now have a package of needles in my car and my husband's!
ReplyDeleteHappy week and stitching!
I love long road trips for that very reason - stitching time! It would make me so frustrated not to have a needle! Once I lost a thing of floss - I finally realized it must have fallen out of the car at the gas station.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week.
I can't stitch in the car. But, I always take my current read. Curious if you could tell me when your "I love Winter" will be released? Sorry, if this isn't the place to ask. I have the other 3 and... well, the collection isn't complete. ;)

I stitched a little in the car when we were on the way down to San Diego for the air show, but I started getting a little car sick so I had to put it away. I love that little Halloween tree! Do you have any left??
ReplyDeleteOh, how I hate it when I pack everything but my needle! I keep meaning to make a little travel stitching necessaire--but then I would need a second pair of my favorite scissors. I collect embroidery scissors, but I confess I only like using the same pair all the time!
ReplyDeleteNice Post..Thank you for sharing..
