"DESIGNS THAT REFLECT OUR
AMERICAN HERITAGE"

Welcome to my blog. I'm probably very much like all of you who love the needlearts. My life revolves around family, friends, home and all things that help to make for a more contented life. When time allows; cooking, gardening, decorating, and collecting are my joys. I look forward to sharing all of these things with you. I also hope to keep you up to date on what is going on at Homespun Elegance, in regard to the needlework designs and the "Plain & Fancy Wares" that we offer.

Wishing you "Many Happy Stitches".

Marking Sampler Extraordinaire

Good Evening Everyone!
 I know I shouldn't do this,
 because my graphing is still not complete,
but I just had to share with you my "prim" finish of my
"MARKING SAMPLER
EXTRAORDINAIRE".
I've always wanted a really big sampler to hang over
a bed in a guest bedroom, but I didn't want to frame it.
 It is mounted on a wonderful tiny check with a torn
and twisted hanger.  So easy and I might add~
very inexpensive!
 You can use any floss color you love,
add a wonderful backing fabric, and there you go.
 Ready to hang in a jiffy.
Hope you love it.
I'll let you know as soon as it is ready to ship~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
By the way, I just have to say something to
"Marly" of Samplers and Santas Blog.  Since you
like marking samplers so much, I hope this
one is calling your name.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hope you all have an evening filled with
"Many Happy Stitches",
Sandra

    1. Thank you so much Robin. I really wanted to do something really different~not just another frame. I know it won't appeal to everyone, but that is OK.

    1. I just had to point out Marly because she is always stitching and talking about marking samplers. This one is a little over the top, but it is special I think. I am so happy you like it!!!
