"DESIGNS THAT REFLECT OUR
AMERICAN HERITAGE"

Welcome to my blog. I'm probably very much like all of you who love the needlearts. My life revolves around family, friends, home and all things that help to make for a more contented life. When time allows; cooking, gardening, decorating, and collecting are my joys. I look forward to sharing all of these things with you. I also hope to keep you up to date on what is going on at Homespun Elegance, in regard to the needlework designs and the "Plain & Fancy Wares" that we offer.

Wishing you "Many Happy Stitches".

Hope You Can Come!

Good Evening Everyone!
Just wanted to announce some "events"
that I will be participating in
July 12th and l3th.

DYEING TO STITCH~
 R & R Reproductions
will host a
"Meet & Greet"
and
"Trunk Show"
of my designs
July12th
11:00--2:00.

For any of you who live near
Virginia Beach, Virginia; or are lucky
enough to be spending some
summer fun time there, please
come by.  I would love to see you!

This is what my friends, Ann and Pat,
had to say on their BLOG
about my visit.  So sweet of them~

We are excited to announce a special day with Sandra Sullivan
of Homespun Elegance on July 12th. Come meet Sandra and see
her incredible models, antique needlework tools and samplers.
We have been hoping to host Sandra for a long time so we are
especially excited that she's finally coming. Hope you will join us for a
Fun day!

The "Ann Simms" sampler above and the
reproduction will be there along with
many others.

I am so looking forward to this fun time with
cross stitch friends from near and far.
Hope to see you there!!!

That should be enough fun for one weekend, but
then I will be teaching, yes, can you believe that, at the
TIDEWATER SAMPLER GUILD'S
meeting on July 13th.
Actually, I should clarify that the stitching will
be done ahead of time and I will be
teaching the finishing part of the project.
********************
Well, it is back to finishing some models.  I
had hoped to share some more little
"glimpses" tonight, but as usual I think
I can get more done than I do.
"Many Happy Stitches",
Sandra
