My Needed Break Is Here . . .

Hi Everyone!

On October 8th I announced I would be ceasing to 

ship my designs, both wholesale and retail.  Over the 

past weeks Faye and I have been swamped with

your wonderful orders.  Some of you were ordering

for fear of not being able to get things at a later

date and some were orders for my 

Inventory Reduction sales that I offered you.

Thank you all so much for your interest

in my designs and products.

Because of the volume we have remained open

longer than I had planned to, but the time has

come to make good on my intention to

take a "long needed" break.

SOME GOOD NEWS

During this time I have also been able to arrange

for you to be able to get most of my 

embellishments and Olde Brass buttons.

I am proud to announce that

will be carrying my

OLDE BRASS BUTTONS
and shipping

them to shoppe owners.

As you know, some of the buttons are no

longer available.  I am very sorry about that, but

they have been around for many years and I

can no longer have them made.

and she is very delighted to work with both

shoppe owners and retail customers.  She has

During this time away I will be down sizing a lot of

stuff from my Shoppe days.  For example -

frames, stitching needfuls, and some fun things.

All of this will be offered on the BLOG 

for now.

felted wool.  The backing fabric and hanging

strap is also felted wool.  Both wools are from

Weeks Dye Works.  The sweet little 

appliqued heart is from a vintage coverlet.

This painting was inspired by my cross stitch design
"Elegant Kris Kringle".
I have made prints of the original Santa painting
done on a box lid.  Did a little hand tinting to the
print and then decoupaged it to the box.  The
box is painted and distressed for the "olde" look
we all love.  The inside is distressed also.  I can
sign the back of the box if you would like~just let
me know.  There is a sweet little bag of balsam inside
of your box.
When you open it the smell of Christmas is there!
The box measures 4" square and 2" high.

This is a sweet little pillow made from a beautiful
felted wool that has been embellished with a
vintage crochet-edged textile.  I then chain stitched
the holly leaves and tucked in a few Colonial

Ok, now let me explain the Charm Packs.  As you all

know by now, I will not be selling embellishments any

more in a few days.  Faye has put together seven different

packs.  They each contain quite a large selection

of charms, buttons, rusty stuff, etc. Each pack is 

different and labeled with a number.  When you go to ETSY,

please look for Pack # 1, Pack #2, etc.  When these are

gone there may be time to do more, I don't know.

I will be offering more of this kind of close out stuff

later, on my Blog.  These are a great deal.  We didn't

bother to figure the retail value of each but believe me,

it's a good value.  Each one Retails now for
