"DESIGNS THAT REFLECT OUR
AMERICAN HERITAGE"

Welcome to my blog. I'm probably very much like all of you who love the needlearts. My life revolves around family, friends, home and all things that help to make for a more contented life. When time allows; cooking, gardening, decorating, and collecting are my joys. I look forward to sharing all of these things with you. I also hope to keep you up to date on what is going on at Homespun Elegance, in regard to the needlework designs and the "Plain & Fancy Wares" that we offer.

Wishing you "Many Happy Stitches".

A Little Glimpse

Good Evening!!!
Hope everyone is happy and healthy on this
Friday night.  I am but I am really tired.
Have been working on Christmas designs
all day and printing my
"TURKEY TYME"
Needle Case.
So happy to report that it will be shipping
the latter part of next week.  Yeah!  Then I
can truly move on to my most
favorite time of the year~
***CHRISTMAS***
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just wanted to share a "little glimpse"
of one of my new Christmas designs.
It has been in the works for a while
and will be finished very soon.
Remember my "Button Sampler"
series, well this is the newest one~
"CHRISTMAS TREES
'A PLENTY"
I so hope you like it.  Haven't decided exactly
how I will finish it yet, but it won't be
framed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In reference to my annual
"CINNAMON STICK
CHRISTMAS",
I have decided to do this after all.
It will not be an over-sized Santa, but
will be a Santa with multiple projects.
Something a little different!!!
I know that many of you have asked
about him, and not long ago I said
I might not do him this year, but I've
changed my mind.  I believe this
sort of indecision problem I have comes
with my advancing age.  Those of
you in my age group can probably relate.
Please forgive me.  I hope you will
like him so much that it will not matter.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, I must go.  Have lots to do
tonight.  We will be going to my son's
annual Oktoberfest Party tomorrow.  It
promises to be a beautiful day for an
outdoor party, so I won't get much
done tomorrow~except for some
car stitching on the way to Richmond.
"MANY HAPPY STITCHES",
SANDRA
