Welcome to my blog. I'm probably very much like all of you who love the needlearts. My life revolves around family, friends, home and all things that help to make for a more contented life. When time allows; cooking, gardening, decorating, and collecting are my joys. I look forward to sharing all of these things with you. I also hope to keep you up to date on what is going on at Homespun Elegance, in regard to the needlework designs and the "Plain & Fancy Wares" that we offer.

Wishing you "Many Happy Stitches".

Too Cute!

Hi Everyone!
I just couldn't resist sending an Avery picture.
He is getting so big that he has outgrown his
baby bath towels, the ones with the hood.
So sad in a way - I hate giving up these baby things.
I was there for his bath the other night and we
needed something to dry his hair and this
is what was readily available - a burp cloth.
I love the way he is peeking out.  Look at
that tummy.  He is going to hate me one
day for all of these great pictures.
Have a great day.  I'll be back home tonight
and hope to be showing you some new
things this weekend.
Many Happy Stitches,

  1. How adorable!!!Mom is quite lovely too.

  2. Cute pic of him and his Mom.
    Love the cheeks too!

  3. Aww...what a cutie! He sure is getting big, Sandra--I'm sure it is a bit bittersweet watching him outgrow all his "baby" things!!

  4. Hi Everyone! Thanks for all of your comments. He is such a joy for all of us.
To Marilyn - the cheeks are really something. He is going to either hate kisses or love them. You just can't help but give him kisses all the time.
I figure I only have so long to get away with it. He'll be pushing me away all too soon.

  5. Pretty Mom and darling son! You've got a long while, but if he does push away, he'll come back one day ;-)

  6. That's just about the cutest pic ever Sandra, your sweet grand doesn't want to miss a single thing:)

  7. Thanks everyone!! Can't wait to see him tomorrow.
    Many Happy Stitches,Sandra
