"DESIGNS THAT REFLECT OUR
AMERICAN HERITAGE"

Welcome to my blog. I'm probably very much like all of you who love the needlearts. My life revolves around family, friends, home and all things that help to make for a more contented life. When time allows; cooking, gardening, decorating, and collecting are my joys. I look forward to sharing all of these things with you. I also hope to keep you up to date on what is going on at Homespun Elegance, in regard to the needlework designs and the "Plain & Fancy Wares" that we offer.

Wishing you "Many Happy Stitches".

Good Evening Everyone!

I know you are all anxiously awaiting the
new designs coming out at Nashville.
It is going to be overwhelming for you I know.
I have a few little designs to offer you ~
nothing compared to what you have
already seen, but I hope you like them.

Here they are~

PLAIN AND FANCY MERCHANT
"Quaker Scissor Heart
I stitched this on 30 Count
"Creek Bed Brown" from
R and R Reproductions
I embellished with some "vintage"
buttons from my stash.
The chenille trim is "Cocoa"
from
R and R reproductions

PLAIN AND FANCY MERCHANT
"Spring Eggs V"
Aren't these sweet, I hope you love them
I stitched these on "Parchment"
linen from
Weeks Dye Works
They are trimmed with my
"Nubby Yarn" trim

MERRY NOEL COLLECTION
"Avery's Little Red Truck"
I stitched this on 32 Count "Parchment" linen
by Weeks Dye Works.  I trimmed this with
"Italian Custard" chenille from
Dames Of The Needle and embellished with
tiny rusty bells.

This was for my little grandson, Avery.  He is in love with
trucks, so this was his ornament for 2014.
