"DESIGNS THAT REFLECT OUR
AMERICAN HERITAGE"

Welcome to my blog. I'm probably very much like all of you who love the needlearts. My life revolves around family, friends, home and all things that help to make for a more contented life. When time allows; cooking, gardening, decorating, and collecting are my joys. I look forward to sharing all of these things with you. I also hope to keep you up to date on what is going on at Homespun Elegance, in regard to the needlework designs and the "Plain & Fancy Wares" that we offer.

Wishing you "Many Happy Stitches".

More New Stuff

Good Morning Everyone!
Thank you so much for your wonderful
comments from the Online Show.  Please forgive
me for not responding to all of them, but I so appreciate
the kind things you had to say.  If you had a question
or a request, I will certainly get back to you. The response
to the Online Show has been great.  I hope you had a
chance to visit.   Winners of the four drawings will be
announced in a few days.

 We are so busy around
here!  Trying to get the new things ready for the
Online Show, gathering models and products to
send a trunk show to Celebration of Needlework, and
shipping our Auto and new stuff to our distributors.
I am exhausted and we are not finished by any
means.  But before I get started on all of that, I
want to share with you my newest products.

"May You Be Blessed With Only The Best"
This is the second in my
"Tokens Of Affection" collection.
"Oh To Be A Witch"
This is "May"of my
"A Halloween Year" collection.
"Sitting Pretty"
This is "April" of my
"A Halloween Year" collection.

There are only two more left in this collection.
I would like your input on whether I should
continue for another year.  Halloween is so
popular, but I don't want to over do it.  Please
let me know what you think.  How about a
sampler a month?  I think that might be fun.

There will be a "Fancy Friday" this week, so
stay tuned.

I'm Back From The Move!

Good Evening Everyone!
Lehmer and I survived the move without any
more injuries than we already had.  This is a great
accomplishment for the likes of us.  All went very
well.  Hollis and Paul are safely moved and are
so happy with their new abode.  They are very
thankful to the six strong young men who so
graciously helped them.
Late in afternoon of the move, the door bell rang
and a very sweet lady across the street brought
over a plate of homemade cookies.  Hollis had
the biggest smile on her face.  What a wonderful
thing for a complete stranger to do.  I think they
are going to be very happy in this neighborhood.

Now she can really start planning for the baby.
What an exciting and happy time ahead for all
of us.  I am sure all of you are going to get
sick and tired of hearing me talk about the
baby.  If I get too obnoxious, just let me know.

I have a few sneak peaks for you.  Three new
publications will be shipped next week.
This is from my new collection "Tokens Of Affection".
